we all carry images around in our heads, which impacts how we experience a place.

exploring the presence of memory within the body when it is triggered by certain spaces, this series uses the interactions between photos and their given environment to create surreal scapes.
lingering in the space of a slight, natural illusion and finding a joyful sense of reprise from a wider reality is an aim to accept and enjoy those illusions and misunderstandings which surround us.

this  work is an ode to working through confusing memories- accepting not fully knowing what happened, and working to become present when the memories come back up.

captured in fort greene park, brooklyn, new york.
